Gradings are typically every 2 months. Students, young and old, will have pre tests to ensure they are ready for their next belt. Grading letters are sent home with the students to be filled out and returned to the Grand Master asking what they have learned in their current belt, what they would like to work on for their next belt and a few other questions the Grand Master would like to know before students are offically requested to go to grading.
